Hi everyone,

I have had a few queries come thorough about oxygen delivery and humidity so I would like to capture when everyone's current practice is please.

If you could advise on the following that would be really helpful:

  1. For low flow oxygen delivery (0-2l/min or 4l/min if using larger size nasal cannula) initiated for respiratory support not long-term oxygen requirement - is oxygen humidified and what strategies/systems do you use to do this e.g. cold bubble
  2. For higher oxygen requirements - is oxygen humidified and what strategies/systems do you use to do this e.g. humidification unit or Airvo 2/3
  3. Do your bed spaces have piped medical air or just oxygen?
  4. Is anyone experiencing any difficulties with their delivery systems e.g. changes in equipment/interfaces etc.

Any info you can share would be great.

Thanks so much.
